4. Stitches

 

Before you start with beadwork, you should sew together the pieces of leather the way you need them. It's my experience that this is the better way because you can beadwork across the seam. This is important for beading leggins.
When you make moccasins it is better to sew the upper parts together and make the beadwork before you sew on the sole (you can hold the piece more easily).

As for the Peyote Stitch, there are 2 different ways.
Peyote 3 describes the 3-step version, while Peyote 2 describes the "unit of 2 pattern".
